Osteria Santa Caterina in Metropolitan City of Bologna

"I was reading the menu outside, this waiter (Luca) asks me if he could help, so I ask if they had cheese tortellini, he said No, but told me he could ask in the kitchen if they could make cheese torteloni. He comes back and says: Yes, they can do it. How nice is that? The food was fantastic, service great and great atmosphere. For sure I'll be going back there on my next trip to Bologna. Had Luca not asked in there kitchen, I would never have eaten there! Thanks!"

"On Monday evening, it was quiet. The food came out fast, and the staff was helpful. It's not a tourist place, for sure. The green lasagna bolognese was delicious, and the tortellini in parmesan cream is also worth trying. Portion sizes were just right."

"Beautiful restaurant, we booked for dinner and went early for drinks, the waiter suggested we eat in the garden at the back of the restaurant and what a beautiful setting, a real hidden gem. Staff were very attentive and explained all the specials to us in English. We started with the mortadella mouse in a cone of pastry, which was excellent, followed by the best lasagne ever and a beautiful green tagliatelle with ragu. We shared the mascarpone cream with chocolate, which was very light and tasted delicious. Two gins to start with, water and a bottle of wine, only €97, superb."

"We stumbled across this place and the service was so sweet and friendly. They gave the kids coloring placemats which were very well received. The server helped us with recommendations so we had the Bolognese cutlet, green tagliatelle with ragu, and lasagna. Everything was tasty, can't say that the Bolognese cutlet was my cup of tea since it's like a chicken cordon Bleu but less juicy. Wine was good, service is super attentive. We loved our meal here."
